In this Blog Post I am posting photos about my trip in Divjaka-Karavasta Park and Narta Salinas, a tour guided by AOS Albanian Ornithological Society. In the previews blogpost I've shared photos from the first part of the tour, inside Karavasta Lagoon, where we saw the woodland birds, the island of protected Dalmatian Pelican and the mysterious lagoon atmosphere. The next visit is in Divjaka's seashore and the narrow strip of land that separates the lagoon from the sea. The field trip continues in the protected landscape of Fier-Vlore with the last stop Narta Lagoon and Saltworks. The area is a wetland of 3.8 km2, that shelters many species of animals and plants. It is the second most important area in Albania for waterbirds, after Karavasta, and a complex ecosystem that offered us a charming panorama few hours before the storm.
